An Appeal To All Baganda and Their Friends.

The management committee of Buganda Heritage Association appeal to you to support their fundraising effort for the work going on to rehabilitate and maintain our cultural and Historical heritage in Buganda and other programmes being undertaken.

The most urgent work is the rehabilitation of the Mengo palace, the Kasubi Sekabakas' place and a number of the Royal burial sites.

Rehabilitation of the water supply at Kasubi, is among the major undertaking Buganda Heritage would like to take on, and this would require substantial fund raising effort.

Currently Buganda Heritage supplies food to Kasubi on the weekend to feed the Royal Court Ladies doing duty at the shrine. Most of these ladies' accommodation is also in desperate state of disrepair as you will see from the picture of the house shown below, which shows the house before and after Heritage's intervention.

There is a Children's Luganda project in London and the development of the Luganda Teaching to non Luganda speaking people.

All this needs your support.
