Unveiling A Plaque In Memory of the Late Ssekabaka Muteesa II

A blue plaque was unveiled at Orchard House in Bermondsey by Mulangira Daudi in memory of the late Ssekabaka Muteesa II at the residence where he stayed after fleeing into exile following the coup by the then Prime Minister Dr. Milton Obote.

Ssekabaka Muteesa II was given the use of the Rotherhithe flat in Orchard House, which belonged to a long-standing acquaintance from the British Army.
